Overview – what it’s all about
As our Church is a piece of the Body of Christ, we find it to be our privileged duty to help those in need. The One*One*One Ministry at Faith Baptist Church simply put; provides all the food that One family of four will need for approximately One week all contained in One basket. This basket includes both perishable and dry goods items. It is our desire is to reach out to families in need by providing quality food that will be a help to others that are in need. In addition to these food items, our church also hosts a free clothing and household-goods giveaways.
Our One+One+One Ministry events occur quarterly. They are open to the public, families in need, and members of our community. “The One+One+One Ministry gave me more than food, they gave me hope. I have watched this ministry blossom from the beginning. The ministry staff not only help feed you and your family, but are willing to listen to you. They offer compassion, friendship, and sincerity. Everyone serving in the One+One+One Ministry is a volunteer, and I now have the honor of being a part of this wonderful ministry. The power of a smile, handshake, and a hug is simply amazing. It is my joy to now be serving as those in need as others once served me.“
