Fundulea, Romania
Gerald and Kristin Ziemer are Word of Life Bible Institute graduates who began their missionary journey to Romania in 1993. After two years of effective youth ministry in the capital city, Bucharest, they then moved outside the city to begin a new work.
They had the opportunity to pastor and grow the Hope Baptist Church in Fundulea for the last 25 years, while assisting that church in planting four new church plants during this time. They have also developed a camp ministry through Camp Eli, a 120 bed facility in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. This project started in 2004, and has been used of the Lord to impact the lives of thousands of children and teens with the gospel.
