Praise the Lord for the 700.

Every Sunday night at "The Coast" camp the Gospel is given in the first meeting.  Every Sunday night at camp there are dozens who make a decision to accept Christ into their life.  I heard from several leaders on 2 different occasions that they had never heard a gospel presentation that was so simple to understand.  God works thru the declaration of his Word. Praise the Lord for over 700 stories of students who accepted Christ this summer at "The Coast."

Stories from Camp

A Camp Crew member (summer worker) accepted Christ as her Savior! Olivia has been with us all summer, working hard and collaborating effectively with her team. Many people have been praying for her and alongside her, faithfully sharing the gospel in nearly every conversation. She had doubts and questions, feeling uncertain about accepting the gospel as truth and Jesus as the only way to Heaven. In the same cabin, there is a girl named Sophia who has developed a passion and deep conviction for evangelism. She has been seeking help and training on how to better share the gospel. These two girls started a conversation and Sophia shared the gospel with Olivia. Finally, Olivia accepted it! On a Monday night, we printed a spiritual birth certificate for her, and she publicly declared her decision. Praise the Lord!

A counselor told about a camper that she led to Christ. Nahir had a girl in her cabin that grew up in a catholic family and had never heard the gospel so plainly before. As Nahir explained that God loves us and that his grace is sufficient, she trusted in Jesus!

Zach works at the front gate as a security person and gets to talk to a lot of parents, pastors, and delivery drivers.  During week 2 he was able to give the Gospel to a Dominos delivery driver that kept coming to our campus several times throughout that Friday with different pizza orders. Zach started a conversation with him and asked if he could talk for a few minutes. Though the driver was in a hurry, he stayed and talked for 5 minutes and Zach quickly ran through the Romans Road. That was apparently all the man needed to hear because he immediately got saved.

Praise the Lord for the 1

This year we have had the opportunity to do several FASCAR kid's events.  These are always a great boost for the church, the children's program and the kids.  Using a 35' metal track we race Hot Wheel cars and give the Gospel during the event.  Two of these events stand out because of the One.  At The Rock church in Brooksville one student who brought his little brother and sister received Christ.  At FBC Oxford one 7 year boy accepted Christ who had been thinking about it after seeing his sister get baptized.   In fact before I could finish the invitation, he raised his hand and said outloud, "I want to receive Christ as my Savior."  Jesus loves the little children and we are thankful that he reaches out to the One.

Pray for Reverb

As of today we are still waiting for the NBA to release their schedule for the 24-25 season.  Would you pray that we get a good date in November to do our all nighter?  Nov. 8th is our preferred date but Nov. 15th will also work.

Support News

Nancy and I praise the Lord for you as supporters and friends.  Normally I don't talk about support simply because our support has very good for last few years.  But now, I need to address it.  We are short $800 per month and we need to ask for new support and also a possible raise in support from existing donors.  Would you pray about possibly giving us a raise?  We have had some long time supporters retire and lose jobs and we are in need of replacing that loss.  I will be calling some of you in the future about a raise but it you feel led to help now we would appreciate it.
