Marta Galdamez

Marta was born in 1958 in El Salvador, Central America. Almost dying the day she was born due to suffering from a congenital defect called Choanal Atresia, but God saved her physically. On Saturday morning February 14, 1987, Marta trusted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Lord. She became involved in different ministries: Prison Ministry, Homeless Ministry, and Counseling among others. In 2005, she was appointed as missionary with International Partnership Ministries, Inc. in Hanover, PA, planning to go to Puerto Rico, but the Lord had other plans for her. In the year 2008, Marta began learning Sign Language and became involved in a new ministry allowing her to communicate and minister to deaf people. Since moving back to Florida in 2019, she has continued ministering in Deaf Ministry as well as promoting the ministries of IPM, visiting churches, and speaking with individuals on the need to minister to the deaf world. Her heart’s desire is for hearing people to understand the need to minister to deaf people, therefore, the Lord has given Marta a ministry to teach Sign Language to hearing people and to be able to have fellowships and to establish long lasting friendships to proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
