PASTOR CHAD HOUGHTON, Family Pastor
Thank you for visiting the Faith Students webpage. My primary focus is our youth ministry. I love to work with teenagers! God has given me a burden to see each teen ENLIST to Christ, EQUIPPED into Disciples, and ENGAGING them to make disciples.
I have been serving in youth ministry since 2000. I am privileged to be serving alongside my wife, Christina, for all of those years. Christina and I got married in 2001 and we have two children, Morgan and Mason. God has been so good to our family and He continues to do so.
In March of 2011, we came here to Faith Baptist Church. We know that this is EXACTLY where God wants us to be. One thing that is clear throughout the Bible, there is no better place to be than in the middle of God's will. Even though trials will come, we know that if God is for us that nothing can stand against us. We are excited about the future God has for our family at FBC!
SHAWNA MCGOWAN
Ministry Assistant/Youth Coordinator
Shawna grew up in the FBC Youth Group. She became a member of Faith Baptist Church in 2019 then later joined our staff in 2023. She serves alongside Pastor Chad in ministering to our Faith Students while also assisting with the daily operations of the church office. Shawna is an RN and works at a local hospital as well. She has a heart for people, loves missions, and is actively involved in our Young Adults ministry.
