The 60-Day Giving Challenge is an invitation for those who do not currently give to partner with God in their finances!
As followers of Christ, we believe we should place God first in every area of life -- including our finances. We also believe that God doesn’t want something from us, God wants something for us! God told the Children of Israel to prove Him, test Him in giving God the first and the best. He promised that if they did, they would see God’s blessing on their finances and over their lives.
Over the next 60 Days, we invite you to choose to TRUST God with your finances for the first time; to commit to giving 10% of your income according to the Bible and trusting God in this area!
WHAT IS THE FAITH GIVING CHALLENGE?
Giving is one of the most tangible ways we worship God because it declares He is first in our lives. This 60-day commitment to put God above material things is a huge step of faith and trust, and we couldn’t be more excited to hear how God works in your life as a result. *If participating in the challenge with your spouse, please fill out a form for each individual. This will ensure that all communication is received by each person.
STEP ONE
Determine your tithe—10% of your income. If you can’t do 10%, perhaps start with 7% or with 5%, but ask God to bless you as you trust Him in this key area of growth.
STEP TWO
Begin the next time you get paid (or the time after that). Just don’t wait long, as we have a great tendency to talk ourselves out of the steps God has for us. We strongly encourage you to auto give, so that way you know that step is being taken every time.
STEP THREE
Watch how God works in your finances and in your life. Keep track, keep a journal perhaps, but have a way where you can look back and see the Lord's blessing.
