FIND HOPE. FIND HELP.
Life can be difficult. Marriages struggle. Families hurt. Grief can feel overwhelming. Anxiety, fear, anger, temptation, and difficult circumstances can leave us wondering what to do next.
You don't have to walk through those seasons alone.
At Faith, we believe God's Word gives us the wisdom we need to know God, understand ourselves and our circumstances, and respond to life's difficulties in ways that honor Christ. Our Biblical Counseling Ministry exists to walk alongside people with compassionate, Christ-centered counsel rooted in Scripture.
HOW CAN WE HELP?
Our biblical counselors meet with individuals and couples facing a variety of challenges, including:
Marriage & Family
Marriage struggles, communication, parenting, family conflict, separation, and other relationship difficulties
Personal Struggles
Anxiety, fear, anger, guilt, discouragement, loneliness, temptation, and other personal struggles
Grief & Suffering
Loss, illness, difficult life circumstances, major transitions, and seasons of suffering
Spiritual Growth
Questions about faith, spiritual struggles, decision-making, forgiveness, relationships, and growing in your walk with Christ.
You don't need to have everything figured out before asking for help. That's why we're here.
OUR BIBLICAL COUNSELORS
Our counselors include pastors and trained lay counselors who are committed to caring for people through the truth and hope of God's Word.
Our counselors are not licensed mental-health professionals. They have received training in biblical counseling and serve under the oversight of Faith Baptist Church.
Our goal isn't simply to help you feel better about a difficult situation. We want to help you understand what God says, grow in your relationship with Christ, and learn to respond faithfully to whatever circumstances you are facing.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Biblical counseling is more than receiving advice. Your counselor will listen carefully, help you understand your situation through the lens of Scripture, and walk alongside you as you seek to apply God's Word to your life.
Counseling typically includes regular appointments as well as practical assignments between sessions. These may include Scripture reading, prayer, reflection, reading assignments, or specific steps designed to help you put what you are learning into practice.
Because meaningful change takes time, we ask counselees to come prepared to participate faithfully in the counseling process.
Our counseling is provided at no cost.
